Hologram/Advertisement Kit [WIP]


For my last prop, I am making an advertisement kit. Having lots of fun with the material and particle editor. That "matrix" font material was particularly interesting to create and served as a template for my wire-frame material.

Still lots of work to be done.

Final stages of the pyramid. Getting a realistic glass shader was a pain. Now I just need to refine and clean everything up. Particle effect might also get another pass.

Futuristic Pyramid [WIP]


Here is the futuristic pyramid I've been working on. A large part of the textures are placeholder (as well as some of the geometry), but this is pretty much what I am going for. Heavily inspired by the architecture in Dubai. I really wanted to have those smooth curves while maintaining a low triangle count which we are required to go by. Something that really is helping out is to add a few contrasting flat surfaces, which was suggested to me by fellow classmate and friend Eli Allen.

Egyptian Statue Progress [WIP] pt.2



I finally had time to pick this baby back up to finish up after putting this to the side to work on my modular kit. Here's some progress on it. Fixed some more proportion issues, including the big right arm and leg length and lowered his "skirt" a bit.
When importing the statue to UDK I played around with the material editor and found that I also liked a tan version of my statue, so there's a possibility i might make multiple versions of this according to my team.
So far I have to model this, a pyramid, and a futuristic Egyptian vehicle, which should be interesting.
